Abstract

Meeting the Compliance Mandate at Gillette

As one of the founding members of EPCglobal, The Gillette Company recognized early on the benefits to be gained using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in its distribution operation. When Wal-Mart announced that suppliers will be required to ship RFID tagged cases and pallets beginning January 2005, the Gillette logistics’ team selected HK Systems as their technology partner to develop a cost effective means of selecting, tagging, and shipping RFID labeled product. In this presentation HK Systems will share with you how they implemented tag at ship solutions at Gillette and other CPG company distribution centers.
